Ayrshire will once again be jumping to the best of the Scottish inspired gigs, acts, theatre and dance when the annual burns an’ a’ that! Festival returns this week from Wednesday 23 – Monday 28 May.
Festival Highlights
The main music events take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend at Ayr Racecourse. The burns an’ a’ that! Festival Gala Concert with special guest Marti Pellow and featuring The Orchestra of the Scottish Opera, conducted by Garry Walker, joined by Phil Cunningham and Karen Matheson will be on Sunday 27 May. On Saturday 26 May, ‘Rock At The Racecourse’ will be held, featuring two of the best live acts touring today - The Saw Doctors and Deacon Blue - supported by local singer/songwriter Kieron Docherty.
