Tourist Board Training is organising a series of niche market workshops, which are also linked to VisitScotland Quality Assurance Welcome Schemes. Each course looks at the particular needs of a specialist market and identifies how tourism and individual businesses can benefit from meeting those needs. Benefits may include repeat business, recommendations, extended seasons and the opportunity to create new links with businesses in the area.
Workshops available in the Lothians include:
- Ancestral Tourism, one-day workshop – 8 November
- Children Welcome, one-day workshop - 25 October
- Wildlife Tourism, two-day programme – end of September
