The Scottish Borders Tourism Partnership (SBTP)is pleased to announce that Sue Beck, joint-owner of Hendersyde Farm Holiday Cottages, Kelso and a Self Catering representative, has been appointed as the new Chair of the SBTP. The Vice Chair will be appointed by Scottish Borders Council from the two councillors newly elected onto the Partnership. A new Eating & Drinking representative; Chris Winson from the Wheatsheaf at Swinton who will now attend SBTP meetings to represent this sector.

The aim of the Partnership Plan is t
o maintain and enhance the brand and reputation of the Scottish Borders as the leading short break destination and to grow leisure business and visiting friends and relatives tourism through enhanced quality and linkages with key Initiatives.

The next meeting dates proposed are:

  • 10 October 2007
  • 5 December 2007
