East Lothian Tourism Forum welcomes all to their next meeting

Are you interested in hearing the latest news and getting involved in the latest developments in East Lothian’s tourism sector? If so, the East Lothian Tourism Forum warmly welcomes you to attend the next Forum meeting.

Tourism is one of Scotland’s largest industries and Robert Conway, the new Chairman of East Lothian Tourism Forum, believes East Lothian has a key role to play in helping to achieve the industry’s ambition to grow tourism by 50 per cent by 2015.

Mr Conway said: “I am delighted to have been elected as Chairman and excited about taking forward the East Lothian Tourism Forum, to create a platform for everyone involved in tourism to share ideas, network, promote each other and highlight all the examples of best practice to be found in the county.”

“The only way we can make changes in the industry is by working together with accommodation providers and food and drink companies, public organisations, including VisitScotland and East Lothian Council, with major attractions such as the Scottish Seabird Centre and Museum of Flight and with leading tourism groups including the East Lothian Attractions Group and East Lothian Golf Alliance.”

The next East Lothian Tourism Forum meeting will take place at Lennoxlove House on Tuesday 29th April at 2.30pm. If you are interested in attending, please email
