Shetland plays the Blues

Shetland’s fourth annual Blues Festival kicks off in Lerwick at the end of the month, from Friday 31 August until Sunday 2 September. This year’s programme of artistes is even bigger and better than previous years, with a host of performers coming together to provide the biggest and best in Blues.

The line up includes everything from Blues n’ Trouble to the Cadillac Kings, with many others in between. Local acts include the Rumshack Blues Band and the Donald Anderson Band

The festival is largely based in the capital town of Lerwick, with many of the gigs taking place in local pubs and clubs. To find out more and read about previous Blues Festivals go to: www.shetlandblues.info/index.html
