Staff at the Shetland Fudge Company celebrated their win at the prestigious Scottish Thistle Awards held in Edinburgh earlier this month.
The northerly confectioner, one of 14 businesses throughout Scotland to have taken a first in the coveted accolades, fought off stiff competition from The Famous Grouse Experience in Perthshire and the Anstruther Fish Bar and Restaurant in Fife, to take gold in the ‘People Development: Small Business‘ category.
Gillian Ramsay, Managing Director of the Shetland Fudge Company, said: “This was our third year in a row to have made the finals, so to have gone on and won an award from this is fantastic news for our business.
