There’s no shortage of arts events on offer for locals and visitors to Shetland over the coming months.
New paintings from Veer North artist Brian Henderson are on display until 1 May in the Shetland Economic Development Unit, 6 North Ness business park, Lerwick.
Meanwhile, an exhibition entitled ‘Aspects of Shetland’ including works by Avril Thomson, Peter Biehl and Sam Davies runs from 15th March until the 14th April in Da Gadderie in the Shetland Museum and Archives, admission free.

Finally, classical piano can be enjoyed on the 28th March at 7.30pm in the Lerwick Town Hall, where internationally acclaimed Thai pianist Chaiporn Pookhaothong will play a range of works from Beethoven to Schumann.
