The Scottish Tourism Forum’s popular series of Highlands and Islands e-commerce workshops, in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), VisitScotland and VisitScotland.com, return with the programme launching on 23 January 2007 in Tarbert. At only £25, including buffet lunch, these excellent value events, which include expert insight into consumer trends, help you to make more money from the internet.
Workshops designed for YOU
Whatever stage you’re at and whether you’re an accommodation provider or involved in marketing, these workshops are designed to help you to make more money from the internet. They include business case studies, an exploration of support in your area, a look at the current market with insider insights into consumer trends, and a question and answer session.
How do we ensure the workshops are at the right level for you?
We send out a pre-event self-evaluation form which lets you assess your business and tells us where you think you want to go and what barriers you face. This way we can bring along the right information for you and your business.
Experts from organisations including HIE, VisitScotland and VisitScotland.com will be available at the workshops. We've built in one-to-one sessions (pre-bookable or bookable on the day) that allow you to spend 15 minutes with your chosen speaker(s) to answer your queries.
It's also proven helpful to meet other businesses that have gone down a variety of web development routes and the workshops include private sector speakers relating their experiences.
