New Guides launched
Perthshire, Angus & Dundee Accommodation Guides; Perthshire Visitor Guides; and Angus & Dundee Visitor Guides are now in circulation.
This is the first time the two areas have combined the accommodation guides and will enable VisitScotland to expand the target market of potential visitors to both Perthshire and Angus & Dundee.
The one guide will be sent to visitors enquiring about both areas, through our national and local marketing campaigns, contact centre and Tourist Information Centre enquiries. This guide will also be distributed more widely throughout our key target markets across the UK.
Visitor research highlights that potential visitors to Scotland, including Scots, are unaware of regional boundaries. Very often at the planning stage visitors therefore need to request more than one area guide. By combining the two area guides we will be able to streamline the decision making process making things easier for the visitor while still providing as much relevant information as is required on both areas.
To pick up a copy of any of the guides why not drop into your local Tourist Information Centre where staff will be more that happy to help you.
