Perthshire Green Tourism Network

Are you interested in adapting to the changing demands of your visitors?
Do you seek business growth that is economically and environmentally sustainable?

If yes, then the new `Perthshire Green Tourism Network` can benefit you…

• Over 80% of our visitors say that the scenery and natural environment are what they like most about Scotland. We need to protect these assets.
• Visitors increasingly believe that an environmentally aware business is more likely to be quality conscious. This suggests that there is a sound business case for being greener.
• There is a growing interest in green tourism, a rapidly expanding green consumer base and an increasing number of people who include environmental factors in their purchasing decisions.

To respond to this changing marketplace and further strengthen Perthshire’s green credentials, Scottish Enterprise Tayside and VisitScotland Perthshire are taking the lead in setting up the `Perthshire Green Tourism Network`.

Any business with an interest in the issues outlined above is most welcome to become involved. Attendance at events is free of charge and the initiative will deliver a number of real benefits for participants. These will include: workshops and speakers to provide support for businesses wishing to adopt sustainable practices; familiarisation activity to enhance awareness of the Perthshire environment, projects and opportunities; a chance to meet and share best practice with industry peers; a promotional offer for the VisitScotland Green Tourism Business Scheme; tailored green tourism information and special offers for your guests.

If you are interested in being included and wish to receive information in the future, please let us know by 13th October at the latest. Please fax back this form to 01738 630416 or email
