Perth Winter Direct Mail Campaign

Perth Winter Breaks Direct Mail campaign, created with partners Horsecross and Perth City Partnership and sent to 40,000 contacts, will consist of 6 accommodation short break offers, 6 eating out and retail offers and Perth Concert Hall & Perth Theatre events.

The key aim of the campaign is to encourage extended visitor stays during the quieter winter months (January, February and March).

The campaign is aimed at young professionals who typically enjoy city breaks and also the core 45+ couples market in Scotland and North of England. The direct mail is due to be sent out in mid January 2007.

To continue the winter theme the Perthshire website will have a distinctive festive feel and in December will include over 100 short break offers accessible via a button on the homepage of www.perthshire.co.uk. A What’s Open in Winter factsheet will also be available on the website.

A Perthshire ‘Winterludes’ e-newsletter will also be used to support the campaign and will be sent out in early January 2007.
