Dunkeld Tourist Information centre has been named the friendliest in the country by a world-famous guide.

Staff were delighted to pick up the latest copy of The Lonely Planet Guide to Scotland to discover the accolade.

The often acerbic guide was fullsome in its praise, stating "Dunkeld Tourist information Centre has to be the friendliest in the whole of the country."
