VisitScotland Staff Green Week
With sustainability and sustainable growth key challenges for VisitScotland and the tourism industry as a whole, VisitScotland are holding a major employee initiative to raise awareness of green issues and the need to care for the environment.
Green Week will take place from 2- 8 October and VisitScotland staff around the network will be focusing on a range of activities to help work towards a more sustainable organisation.
In Perthshire, staff green efforts will include minimisation of paper use, fundraising for capercaillie conservation and a familiarisation visit to the newly opened Blairgowrie Paths Network.
