The Blair Castle Horse Trials is celebrating a major new sponsor for it's prestigious Country Fair and organisers Atholl Estates are delighted to announce that it's a local Perthshire company.
The Scottish Liqueur Centre, based at Bankfoot, has stepped in with a sponsorship deal for Bruadar, its Single Malt Whisky Liqueur.
The Horse Trials takes place at Blair Castle from Thursday 24th August to Sunday 27th August and the Bruadar Country Fair will include a full programme of events on the Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors to the event, which last year attracted over 36,000 people over four days, will have the chance to sample "The Great Outdoors" in the form of Bruadar, which is produced in Perthshire from single malt whisky, honey and sloes.
The Bruadar Country Fair Arena will play host to events and demonstrations including a gundog demonstration by renowned trainer, David Lissett, chainsaw carving, terrier racing, duck herding and the spectacular flyball team. A climbing wall, quad bikes and vintage tractors means there is something to keep everyone from kids to grandparents amused.
Sarah Phillips, Director of the Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair, welcomed the new sponsorship deal saying: "It is lovely to have a local Perthshire company on board as a major sponsor and we look forward to Bruadar bringing its own special flavour to this year’s Country Fair."
Managing Director of The Scottish Liqueur Centre, Kenny MacKay was equally pleased and said: "Bruadar is perfect for drinking outdoors so it seemed like the perfect sponsorship for us. A high quality Perthshire brand and a high quality Perthshire event!
"Bruadar, is marketed with the advertising slogan 'The Great Outdoors' and is targeted specifically at hip-flask users such as sportsmen, hill walkers and the like.
"The Country Fair at Blair Castle International Horse Trials will be its first major sponsorship and is part of a wider tasting programme in Scotland this year, where the company hopes to introduce the product to over 250,000 consumers".
