- Ancestral Tourism Workshop, 2nd October - Isle of Harris
- Green Tourism Workshop, 4th October - Isle of Lewis
- Angler’s Welcome Workshop, 23rd October - Isle of Harris
- Watersports Welcome, 25th October - Isle of Lewis
Film Crews Welcome Workshop: This workshop is aimed at tourism operators keen to look after film crews working in their area and to provide and opportunity for businesses to identify together, how they can individually or collectively as a community can benefit from this valuable income to Scotland.
A Delegate fee of £15.00 + VAT is applicable.
Wildlife Welcome Workshop: Day one of the Wildlife Tourism workshop will assist you to guide visitors to wildlife and natural heritage resources in your local area. Provide you with knowledge on the variety of wildlife on land and in the seas around, as well as appreciation of what visitors may be looking for and some tips on how to make their experience more rewarding. Day two, a familiarisation trip will provide you with awareness of local wildlife visitor attractions and give you the opportunity to meet with experts at the visitor attractions and ask questions.

Ancestral Tourism: This workshop has been developed to recognise this growing market and is aimed at tourism operators who have an interest in meeting the specific needs of ancestral tourists. This can include accommodation providers, visitor centres, tourist information centres. Etc.

Anglers Welcome: If you are looking for ways to extend the tourism season, then this event will benefit frontline tourism operators, in particular accommodation providers, keen to attract visiting anglers. The workshop provides delegates with information such as marketing their business, the types of angling enquiries they might receive and what facilities visiting anglers may require.

Watersports Welcome: This Watersports Welcome Workshop has been developed to recognise this growing market and to ensure that tourism operators are maximising the potential benefits to their business. At the same time meeting the needs of watersports visitors, through the provision of quality service and information.

Green Tourism Workshop: If you want help to identify cost savings relating to energy efficiency, water conservation and waste minimisation this workshop could be for you. It highlights and encourages the use of green products such as local food, drink and crafts and helps promote public transport, cycling, walking and wildlife conservation as well as identifying additional marketing possibilities.
