The Three Chimneys is recognised by the AA VIP Lifestyle Guide
Skye’s The Three Chimneys is one of only three Scottish establishments to be chosen by one of the country’s top food writers for inclusion in an exclusive new lifestyle guide published by the AA.
The Guest List, edited by award winning travel author and food expert Jenni Muir, brings together a select list of the very best UK hotels and restaurants on the basis of their outstanding character, services, décor and of course food. The guide has been compiled solely based on personal recommendations by the country’s leading food writers including Sue Lawrence , Clarissa Hyman, Glynn Christian and Sudi Pigott. Jenni Muir says “Only the very best hotels and restaurants made it onto the Guest List and those that made the final cut are special.”
Chef patron of The Three Chimneys Shirley Spear is delighted to see The Three Chimneys selected in the first edition of the Guest List. She said: “I’m proud to see The Three Chimneys earning a place amongst the top 42 eating places in the British Isles in the AA’s first Guest List. It is always a thrill to see your best work recognised at the highest level and especially so in this case where some of the country’s top professional food writers have been asked to make their own independent recommendations based on personal experience rather than on pre-arranged assignments.”
The entry follows a double celebration for The Three Chimneys having achieved the prestigious AA triple rosette for the seventh year running and gained five star AA accreditation in the new common grading system currently being introduced across the by all the leading quality assurance schemes, including VisitScotland.
Each of the 42 establishments in the new guide has been visited and independently reviewed and the Guest List is the only guide book which doesn’t charge hotels and restaurants for their entry.
