The Pier Arts Centre is among 10 museums and galleries on the long list for this year’s prestigious Art Fund Prize. You can show your support to the Pier Arts Centre by doing either or both of the following:
Firstly, the Art Fund prize judges are keen to receive comments from the public about the Pier Arts Centre and its benefits to the community. This is your chance to help Orkney win the prize, as the judges will take all comments into consideration when making their final selection.

Secondly, you can vote for the Pier Arts Centre in an independent public poll being carried out by Culture 24. While this poll will not influence the judges’ decision, it will reveal which project the public thinks should win.

The short list for the Art Fund prize will be announced in early April, and the winner on the 22nd May. The results of the Culture 24 independent public poll will be posted on its site on the 21st May.
