Celebrities Nell McAndrew and Ben Fogle are urging the nation to forget its fast-food, abandon its armchairs, ditch its DVDs, pack in their PCs and instead get active by taking on a Monster Challenge.
The pair were in London to launch the return of the First Monster Challenge, a 120k team duathlon (cycling and running) around the shores of Loch Ness.
Hosted by transport company, FirstGroup, the event is aimed at fitness fanatics and will take place on Saturday September 13th with the start and finish again in Inverness.
First have also revealed that it is to stage First Mini Monster events throughout Great Britain. First Mini Monsters are altogether more gentle events aimed at families, First’s employees and customers, and the general public as a whole.
First is encouraging all of its competitors to raise money for its charity partners, Save the Children.
