The 2008 tourist brochure from VisitOrkney promoting all there is to see and so in the islands will be launched on Thursday 8th November 2007 at an informal evening event at 8pm at the Lynnfield Hotel.
Guest speaker will be David Penker from VisitScotland’s Quality Assurance team, who will present on the value of e-marketing, focussing in particular on the importance of an informative and up-to-date website.
Business Relationship Manager for VisitOrkney, Lee Seator, will discuss new opportunities for accommodation providers on the Places to Stay page of the VisitOrkney website, and a representative from Orkney College will provide information on the range of tourism related courses on offer at the college.
