Making the Web Work for You - workshop dates

Does your website attract enough visitors?
Are they the right kind of people?
Does it translate into bookings and profits?
Are you really confident your site is doing all it can for your business?

Highlands & Islands Enterprise, in partnership with the Scottish Tourism Forum and VisitScotland, are bringing workshops designed specifically for people involved in the tourist industry, to Wick, Kirkwall and Lerwick.

These e-tourism workshops will take place at the end of March, with exact dates and venues to be confirmed shortly (on the STF website).

A company web presence is a vital part of any business strategy these days, but getting your website to perform for you is not always easy.

This Level 2 interactive workshop is aimed at businesses which have some understanding of their existing online presence, but would like even more. Expert instructors will take you through various ways you can use the internet to market your business and local case studies will be used as examples. Find out how to improve the functionality of your existing site to provide a smoother user experience and streamline your business processes.

Our main aim is to show you how to use e-marketing effectively and how e-commerce can be implemented to suit the scale of your business at minimum cost.

ONE-DAY WORKSHOP 9.30am-4.30pm

Cost to attend, to include refreshments and buffet lunch: £25 + VAT
Contact Elaine Townsend at the STF office to register your interest (or for updated information) on 0131 220 6321.

NB:  Places are strictly limited to ten delegates per workshop as they are instructor led – we supply you with a laptop for the day and you work your way through practical examples. Demand has been extremely high for these workshops in other areas and the Lerwick event is already almost fully booked so if you would like to attend please ensure you reserve your place as early as possible.
