Tourism operators from across the Highlands and Islands are being invited to take part in the region’s most exciting and prestigious hospitality and tourism industry awards.
And the organisers of the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards (HITA) are delighted to announce that the Rt Hon Alex Salmond, MSP and First Minister of Scotland will be attending this year’s gala dinner and award ceremony on 21st November in Inverness. The occasion is the hospitality and tourism industry’s event of the year at which the region’s top performers will be recognised in front of over 350 representatives gathering to celebrate all that is best in tourism in the Highlands and Islands.
There are 11 awards up for grabs this year. Deadline for entries is Friday, 29th August and all applications should be entered online at www.highland-tourism-awards.co.uk, making this year’s system easier and more environmentally friendly. Businesses, initiatives, projects and individuals can enter as many categories as are appropriate to their achievements.
