VisitOrkney’s new online accommodation page, www.visitorkney.com/accommodation/index.asp, has proved very successful with over 60 accommodation providers having signed up so far. The page, which enables businesses to be listed on a single comprehensive site, is the latest addition to the VisitOrkney website, and provides a concise listing of a range of accommodation types across the mainland and isles.

Business Relationship Manager for VisitOrkney, Lee Seator, explains: “Our previous accommodation page secured over 60,000 visits last year and we are confident that this new and improved page - dedicated to ensuring that the process of selecting, booking and paying for accommodation is as hassle-free as possible – will increase the number of site visits.”

The new accommodation listings clearly show contact details, email and web addresses, and also a Google map highlighting the location of the accommodation on Orkney.

Lee continues: “We're offering providers two and a half months’ free advertising to start with, then they will be invoiced in April 2008 in line with our financial year.”
