Orkney tourism businesses are being urged to take advantage of the marketing opportunities available to them through VisitScotland’s Challenge Fund.
The fund was established to assist collaborative group marketing projects that attract new or repeat visitors to Scotland. Groups of three or more tourism businesses can apply for 40% of total project costs for amounts between £2,500 and £50,000.
The deadline for round five of VisitScotland’s Challenge Fund is 31 May 2006 for activity between 1 August 2006 and 31 July 2007; and the deadline for round six is 31 August 2006 for activity between 1 October 2006 and 31 September 2007.
