The search for the top tourism businesses across Scotland has begun, with entries being sought for the 2006 Thistle Awards.
The awards, widely recognised as one of the top accolades a tourism business can receive, seek out Scottish tourism businesses that consistently strive for quality and innovation. Last year, Orkney’s only five star B&B Rickla was named a finalist in the ‘Customer Care: Guest House / B&B of the Year’ category.
With 10 diverse categories, businesses are able to enter as many categories as applicable. The closing date for entries is Thursday 8 June.
The finalists will be announced in September with the overall winners announced at the Awards Ceremony and dinner at Edinburgh’s EICC on Friday 27 October.
