Working in partnership to improve services for tourism businesses
As the industry will be aware, VisitScotland have been making some changes to the organisation. The restructure was initiated at the end of 2007 in response to a request from the Scottish Government to align the organisation with the new regional structure for the enterprise agencies and in response to feedback from our customers.
The focus of the changes have been to implement a structure that will ensure that the needs of our customers come first in everything we do and that it will be easier for all our customers to do business with us.
Local office activity remains a fundamental part of VisitScotland and will ensure we are close to our customers and can deliver effective local services in partnership with local authorities, tourism businesses and other agencies.
As before, local teams will ensure that unique geographic and regional circumstances are fully reflected and integrated in VisitScotland’s marketing activity.
