• The day will commence with Tavish Scott MSP, Convener of the Energy, Enterprise and Tourism Committee as our key note speaker. As the enquiry into tourism draws to a close we look forward to hearing his views on the potential for tourism in Scotland.

• We will also hear from the Tourism Framework for Change (TFFC) as it moves into its next phase and how it will focus on business needs, unlocking tourism potential through joint partnerships and how you get involved.

• Gordon Bell, The Retailer, will be demonstrating ways to increase profit potential within your business with selling techniques and recognition of opportunities.

• Shirley Spears, The Three Chimneys, will give a case study on how she has built a successful business in Skye inspiring visitors both to her business and the local area.
