Homecoming Scotland 2009: Join our celebrations

Homecoming Scotland 2009 will consist of a programme of exciting and inspirational events and activities across Scotland throughout the year.

2009 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of our national poet and international cultural icon Robert Burns and throughout the year there will be a number of events celebrating not only Burns but some of Scotland’s other great contributions to the world, including golf, whisky, great minds and the rich culture and heritage that lives on at home and abroad.
