Scotland’s cities are being given a winter makeover by VisitScotland to help attract more visitors during a traditionally quieter time of the year.

VisitScotland is revamping its city break website, www.visitscotland.com/citybreaks, to help show winter holidaymakers all the fantastic things to do and see in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Stirling during the winter months.

Tying in with VisitScotland’s successful ‘Winter White campaign’, a new section is also being launched to highlight all the white things visitors to our six cities during winter.

A number of businesses are offering special deals and discounted rates for anyone planning a winter city break.

The Cities Winter will run until February. Visitors to the website will be offered special deals on accommodation during those months and other special discounts at partner visitor attractions and retailers.
