The Scottish Café Trail - nominations wanted

VisitScotland is asking regular Scottish visitors to nominate their favourite cafes to create The Scottish Café Trail – a new initiative designed to inspire other visitors and promote Scotland in new light.
The trail will be based on suggestions from visitors and locals from all areas of Scotland. Nominations can be made on the VisitScotland Café Trail website www.visitscotland.com/cafetrail where visitors can tell us about their favourite café and describe their memorable experiences. The best overall description will then earn the writer a luxury break for two to Argyll.
Whether it is the location, nearby activities, atmosphere, service or simply amazing cakes, VisitScotland wants to celebrate the important part these businesses play in creating the perfect day out and welcoming Scotland’s visitors.
Nominations will be accepted until the end of September with judging taking place in October and the launch of the trail following in November.
To enter your favourite café and the description of what you did the day you found it that made it so memorable, log onto www.visitscotland.com/cafetrail and write that award winning description.
