Sam Torrance tees off new ‘top ten’ tourism drive

VisitScotland has developed a website to show visitors that there is always more to do and see in Scotland and to encourage them to plan a trip to experience it for themselves. Golf legend Sam Torrance is the first to select his Scottish ‘top 10’, which includes Highland Park Distillery, Floors Castle, the Wallace Monument and Largs.

Visitors are being encouraged to design their perfect trip by logging onto www.visitscotland.com/top10 and choosing their top ten things to do and see in Scotland.

VisitScotland’s UK and Ireland Marketing Manager, Suzanne Casey said: “We want to show visitors that there’s always more to do and see in Scotland and our new Top 10 website does just that – it will even give them one or two surprises about the kind of things they can experience on holiday here.”

The campaign is run in partnership with Highland Spring, with 35 million bottles of its natural bottled water featuring the promotion.
