Dirk Glaesser, Head of Research and Publications at the UN World Tourism Organisation, has confirmed VisitScotland’s invitation to their symposium on Avian Flu in order to test scenarios on the subject.
They are bringing together Non-Governmental Organisations from Europe, Africa and the Middle East for the event in Paris on 28-29 March. The scenarios are based upon VisitScotland's previous work on the subject with representatives of VisitScotland speaking and facilitating at the event.
The French government will host the event where VisitScotland will meet with their Tourism Minister amongst other officials, allowing VisitScotland to receive much publicity within world trade circles.
