VisitScotland Annual Public Meeting – Glasgow, 8 December

Do you have a burning question you would like to ask the VisitScotland Chairman? Do you want the chance to meet members of the Board and the Senior Management Team? If so, come along to the VisitScotland Annual Public Meeting on Friday 8 December 2006 at the City Halls, Glasgow.

VisitScotland Chairman, Peter Lederer, is delighted to invite you to attend the national tourism organisation’s Annual Public Meeting. The meeting, which will also see the launch of the VisitScotland Annual Report 2005-06, will provide the opportunity for people to air their views about tourism related issues and to ask about VisitScotland’s plans for the future.

This is an exciting time for Scottish tourism as we move towards our ambition of achieving 50% growth in tourism revenues by 2015. It’s an ambition that we can only achieve if we work together in partnership. We would therefore encourage as many of you as possible to come along to the Public Meeting so you can play your part in shaping the future of Scotland’s most important industry.

The event will begin with registration at 10:00; formal presentations commence at 10:30am, followed by a question and answer session. To register your interest in attending the event, please contact Rosalind Butchart on 0131 472 2039 or email openmeeting@visitscotland.com  When registering, please provide full contact details.
