The hunt is on for Scottish Ambassadors

Do you have a member of staff who could act as an ambassador for Scotland?
VisitScotland is calling for eligible Scottish men who think they’ve got what it takes to attract single women from all over the world to Scotland. This is the second year of the innovative ‘Date a Hot Scot’ campaign, with the first campaign attracting more than 90,000 visits to the website in just four weeks and media coverage about Scotland reaching an audience of over 50 million worldwide.
Men interested in becoming a Hot Scot, need to be single, passionate about Scotland, and able to participate in promotional events throughout the year.
VisitScotland is particularly looking for great ambassadors for Scotland who can remind visitors of the huge range of things there are to see and do in all corners of our country, including sporting heroes, adventure sport fans, tour guides, musicians, chefs, actors, dancers, young farmers, artists, craftsmen, festival organisers, authors, fashion designers, staff from restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions.
Applicants should register their interest on the website www.dateahotscot.com by Wednesday 6th December 2006, and from there a panel of judges will choose the top 20 candidates to be the faces of Scotland.
