New easyJet Flight from Munich to Edinburgh
easyJet has announced a new daily service from Munich to Edinburgh commencing on 4 April 2007.
Germany is VisitScotland’s number one European market bringing in more than 280,000 visitors a year and the new route will open up Scotland to more than 1.3 million people living in the largest city in southern Germany.
The German team within International Marketing at VisitScotland will be working with easyJet on promoting this flight as part of their Touring and City break campaigns. Recent activity with easyJet has included a £100,000 City campaign promoting their Berlin - Glasgow flight. A splash page at www.visitscotland.com/easyjet was live in the autumn months and generated 69,164 visits.
