The search is now on for the country’s most sustainable tourism businesses, who will be recognised in the industry’s most coveted tourism awards.
Open to any business which can demonstrate excellence and leadership in sustainable tourism, the Sustainable Tourism Thistle award category received over twenty applications last year. Expectations for this year are that even more businesses will put themselves forward for this prestigious award.
The closing date for entries is 7 June 2007 and the overall winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner on 26 October 2007 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
