There’s still time for rising stars in Glasgow and Edinburgh’s tourism industry to sign up for the first event in the ‘innovation eg’ talent search project, starting with an ideas exchange event on Monday 25 February at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Innovation eg encourages collaborative thinking and acts as a link between young professionals and more experienced leaders in the sector. Key areas to develop new projects to help attract new visitors to both cities are: food, whisky, retail and adventure.

The project is now recruiting young tourism operators with less than 10 years working in the industry and experienced operators who would like to give back a little and are able to give an hour or so to act as mentors in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
