Kelvingrove is ending another remarkable year by welcoming its four millionth visitor since its reopening in July 2006 and winning an award its top-class interpretation.

Kelvingrove was the only UK winner in this year’s Interpret Britain and Ireland Awards which promote the quality of interpretation of exhibits in visitor attractions.

In July this year, Kelvingrove achieved a 5 star visitor attraction grading under VisitScotland’s quality assurance scheme.
