A delegation of Scottish tourism businesses led by VisitScotland Glasgow has just returned from trade mission to Reykjavik at Icelandair’s Mid-Atlantic Seminar.
The Mid-Atlantic Travel Seminar held annually for Icelandair’s suppliers from both sides of the Atlantic, with strong representation from the tourism industries in the UK, Iceland, Scandinavia, USA and Canada.
The event presents a great opportunity for networking and doing business, and each country represented gets to give a destination presentation to buyers.
The Scottish presentation was introduced by a piper, and covered all of the partner businesses, including:
- Thistle Hotels
- Folio Hotels
- Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport
- JAC Travel Scotland
- and Cosmopolitan Hotels.
VisitScotland and Glasgow City Marketing Bureau ensured that the audience saw the very best of the country.
