The stunning new cinema advert that will be luring UK visitors to Scotland for the 2008 season has just been launched, and Scottish audiences will get to see it for the first time on a big screen only at this month’s Glasgow Film Festival, which runs until 24 February.
Directed by acclaimed Hollywood director Peter Webber, the ad titled ‘A Perfect Day’, was filmed on the Isle of Barra and aims to attract more English visitors to holiday in Scotland. The ad is being shown in around 118 cinemas in London, the South and the Midlands for five weeks until mid-March.
Scottish audiences can see the ad online, but there’s nothing like the big screen experience to feel the full impact of those dramatic island landscapes, and you can see the ad shown before every single screening at this month’s Glasgow Film Festival.
VisitScotland is sponsoring this festival for the fourth consecutive year. This year’s rich and diverse programme is bigger and more exciting than ever.
