Take a Tour of the Real River City

Twin City People: Glasgow – The Real River City
16 February 2007
£25 + VAT per person, including lunch and goody bag.

Here’s the ‘river city’ you don’t see on the TV show — the real, vibrant, stylish West End of Glasgow and myriad attractions of the riverside. How much do your staff know about the Tall Ship, the Science Centre and the new Transport Museum?

This Glasgow riverside tour is part of the Glasgow and Edinburgh Collaboration Project’s innovative series of product knowledge tours, developed to give frontline staff a good grounding in what makes Scotland’s ‘twin cities’ tick.

Themed on ‘past, present, and future’, the various tours allow your staff to explore a little of each city’s history, what attracts tourists today and provide an insight into major developments shaping the cities for the years ahead.

This tour gives you a view of Glasgow that many Glaswegians have yet to experience—seeing the city from the Clyde Waterbus on the river itself. Attractions and developments including Xscape, The Tall Ship at Glasgow Harbour, Glasgow Science Centre, the Clyde Arc (or ‘squinty bridge’) and the new Transport Museum site will all be highlighted. Plus there’s also time for a tour of the West End.

The tour, run by Rabbie’s Trail Burners, is also exceptionally good value at just £25 + VAT which includes lunch and a goody bag.
