Now it’s Glasgow TIC-ketmaster!

Glasgow Tourist Information Centre (TIC) has just become Scotland’s tenth retail outlet for global event ticketing giant Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster is the world's leading ticketing company, operating in 20 global markets and providing ticket sales through 6,500 retail sites. Glasgow TIC is only the second in the city to provide the service—to in-person visitors only—and is certain to quickly become one of the TIC’s most popular services.
Area Director Tom McWilliam says: “One of the fundamental requirements for visitors to Glasgow is both good information on what’s on and then tickets for the events they’re interested in. We’ve always provided a good service on the information side of things, but now ticketing service will be one of the best in the city too.
“It will also be useful for local businesses to be able to point visitors in the direction of the TIC for event tickets, and know that they’re going to be in good hands for all their other questions on where to eat, drink, sleep and how to get around too.”
The event ticketing service is now available to in-person visitors only (not telephone bookings) at the TIC at 11 George Square.
