Fife TICs get top marks
Fife Tourist Information Centres have been recognised as Scotland’s best for its customer service in a recent national survey.
A mystery shop audit carried out in a number of Scotland’s tourist information centres (TICs) revealed that Fife TICs achieved the highest ratings with a perfect 100% score graded on a range of criteria.
All TICs included in the survey were assessed on a number of areas including:
- efficiency,
- rapport with the customers,
- establishing the needs of the customer,
- dealing with accommodation and map enquiries
- and the appearance and layout of the centre.
The results of the mystery shop surveys will be used to continually evaluate and improve the quality and range of services offered by TICs, according to customer needs.
