VisitScotland Fife is once again working closely with the trade to make sure that we maximise the day visit market to Fife; therefore we will be producing the popular Kingdom of Life “loyalty Card”, which is intended to entice more visitors to visit Fife for the day and is free for attractions and restaurants to sign up to.
We shall be targeting markets in Scotland within two hours travelling distance with the card being mailed out to at least 10,000 selected households in Central Scotland before the school summer holidays’ as well as being featured in consumer advertising and on VisitScotland Fife’s website. It will also be widely available through Fife’s network of Tourist Information Centres and the participating attractions and restaurants. The Kingdom of Life card will be valid from the end of June to the end of October (although an extension may be possible if there is sufficient interest from attractions).
All we ask is that you provide an incentive for visitors to use their cards:
- Attractions usually offer 2 for 1 admission offer on production of the card, but any offer must be seen to be adding extra value to the customers visit.
- Restaurants can offer a variety of incentives, ranging from a percentage discount off the final bill to a free glass of wine. Again the choice of offer would be yours but naturally would have to be seen to offer added value.
