Scotevents.com receives VisitScotland Challenge Fund boost
Scotevents.com, a
unique web based directory of suppliers to events in Scotland, has been
successful in receiving challenge funding for a second time.
The Scotevents.com group provides
organisers and buyers of business events with direct access to a full
range of integrated services with over twenty-five of Scotland’s best
known companies being part of the group.
The group has been awarded a further £14,100 from the Challenge Fund.
This award will go towards their aim to attract new business tourism
businesses from the overseas European market and will include
development of their website to reflect the new target market, building
their database and production of printed material to use at exhibitions
and conferences.
It is anticipated that the new
marketing campaign will generate an additional 10,000 visits to the
Scotevents.com website with the aim of working with over 30 new events
in Scotland.
The next closing date for businesses to apply for VisitScotland’s Challenge Fund is 28th February 2007.
