VisitScotland has teamed up with Cream o’ Galloway and the Cally Palace Hotel to promote the whiter side of Dumfries & Galloway and encourage visitors to experience the many ‘white’ things to see and do throughout the area.
On-pack promotion on 25,000 tubs of ice-cream will encourage Consumers to enter a prize draw to win a break in Dumfries & Galloway. Major supermarkets such as Sainsbury's, Morrison's and Tesco will be supplying the promotional tubs.
VisitScotland in partnership with Cream o’ Galloway and the Cally Palace Hotel is offering potential visitors the chance to experience a luxury break at the 4-star hotel.
Featuring on 500ml vanilla tubs of Cream o' Galloway ice cream, this unique promotion also offers the chance to be a VIP for the day at Rainton Farm - the home of Cream o' Galloway. The winner will experience a full guided tour of the famous farm and even get to sample 10 delicious flavours of ice cream by taking part in popular event 'The Ice Cream Experience’. The prize also includes a full day of unlimited play at the Farm for a family of four.
Entrants to the competition will be directed to the national winter “white” website www.visitscotland.com/white and are offered further information on Dumfries & Galloway as well as a link to the local website www.visitdumfriesandgalloway.co.uk/winterwhite which offers seasonal pages featuring winter breaks and ideas of white things to do across the region.
