Opportunity to Sponsor exciting events at Kirroughtree
Owners of the breakpad bike shop at Kirroughtree and a B&B in Castle Douglas are organising two events at the world class Kirroughtree. They are fully aware of the potential Kirroughtree has for family to expert level events, and this year, we are hosting two events.
Inspired by the Dalbeattie Hard rock challenge, Kirroughtree will play host to a decathlon called the Kirroughtree Challenge on the 1 June and the Kirroughtree family adventure consisting of bike orienteering, archery and thinking challenge on the 4 May.
The Kirroughtree Family Adventure: A family orientated fun event, consisting of mountain bike orienteering, archery (provided by Laggan Outdoor) and a jigsaw problem designed for all the family to enjoy. Predicted participants: 70
Event Date - Saturady 3rd May
The Kirroughtree Challenge: a 10km run followed by a 17km bike decathlon along the 7stanes mountain bike trails in the forest. Predicted participants: 100.
Event Date - Sunday 1st June
