Riders get chance to trial new bikes in Glentress: Cyclists thinking about buying a new bike in 2008 have the chance to try out some of the latest models for free at a demo day held at Glentress in February.

The National Demo Day Series is starting off its nationwide tour in Peebles on Sunday 10 February and bringing with it a whole host of top bike brands that can be trialled in the picturesque surroundings of Glentress.

The event is organised by the team behind What Mountain Bike, Mountain Bike UK, Health & Fitness magazine and website
www.bikeradar.com and returns to the trails of the UK following the successful launch in 2007.

Readers of What Mountain Bike, MBUK and Health & Fitness magazine will also get the chance to meet the magazine teams and talk to them while trying out the latest bike models and innovations.

Matt Skinner, Editor of What Mountain Bike said; "The National Demo Series reaches across the country, allowing riders to get to grips with the newest bikes and brands out on some of the very best trails that Britain has to offer.

From Glentress in Scotland right down to Plymouth in the South West, the series is the perfect opportunity for readers to put the bikes through their paces before they part with their hard earned cash."

The event is open to the general public and anyone who would like to take part and book some bikes to test should contact
demodays@futurenet.co.uk

Brands taking part in the events are Trek, Jungle, Evo, Bionicon, Moore Large, Jim Walker, Saddleback, Raleigh, Cotic, Hotlines, Saracen, and Fishers.
