The digital TV switch-over

It is now six months until the Selkirk main transmitter and all its dependent relay transmitters switch to digital-only broadcasting.
From 6 May, transmitters are broadcasting captions on all analogue channels – so, if you see the captions, your television is affected by the switchover.
The captions will run for around one minute on each showing and will be shown at different times on all five analogue channels. The captions are generated at the Selkirk main transmitter and can therefore only be seen by viewers watching Selkirk or one of the relay transmitters affected by this switchover.
