Accommodating visitors' needs for Melrose Sevens 125
The Melrose Sevens Rugby Football Club celebrates their 125th anniversary between 10–13 April, with an extended rugby tournament and local attractions.
Guest teams from Italy, South Africa, England and Australia will compete, alongside other international players, in front of 18,000 spectators.
We are already getting calls from visitors and the teams who plan to attend the event needing accommodation for singles, couples and groups of around 15 or so.
There are links from the organiser's website to the VisitScotland website so that spectators and players can book their accommodation in advance. So you can imagine it is more important than ever that you ensure your availability and pricing on your VisitScotland.com entries are up to date for that weekend.
Please take a little time now to update your availability directly onto the system using the Extranet or with the updates team email updates@visitscotland.com or telephone 08456 023 779, for this event and for the coming months.
Once your information is on the system it will be visible on the website, to over 100 TICs in Scotland and to the Contact Centre staff in Livingston.
