A rare opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses operating in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park area has arisen as a result of an innovative project which has recently been launched in the area.
KIT-Out the Park is a project designed to help small companies improve their business performance, develop new products and services and increase their competitive edge, through the adoption and integration of the latest technologies in key sectors.
Companies participating in the project will be able to take advantage of regular, ongoing advice and support from tourism experts and sector specialists to help them develop their ideas and put them into practice within their own businesses.
Advice and support on grants available to help with project implementation will be given. The project also has a limited number of grants of up to £5,000 to carry out feasibility studies for suitable project ideas.
If your company would like to take part, has an idea or a project in mind or simply wants to find out how new technology could lead to better business, then contact Abu-Zar Aziz, KIT-OUT the Park Project Officer, on tel. no 0141 331 8482 or e-mail Abu-Zar.Aziz@gcal.ac.uk.
You can also register your interest on-line by visiting the project website at www.kit-out.org. A member of our Project Team will quickly follow up any expressions of interest or enquiries with a one to one discussion of your project/idea.
